My medical care left me worse off than I was before. Can I do anything about it?

Yes. You can make a complaint under the NHS complaints procedure and you may be able to claim compensation.

Do I need a solicitor?

Not if you are just making a complaint but you do if you are claiming compensation. We have a team of specialist lawyers experienced in all sorts of medical accident cases.

We are one of the few firms of solicitors to hold a contract with the Legal Services Commission to undertake Clinical Negligence cases with Public Funding (legal aid). I have already made a claim through another solicitor but I think that I received inappropriate advice. Is there anything I can do about it?

Yes. If your solicitor or barrister made a mistake, it may be possible to sue them. We can advise you about this and you may be entitled to receive legal aid. Please see the Professional Negligence section for further details.

How do I pay for my case?

Public funding is available if your income is below a certain level, or we may be able to represent you on a NO WIN – NO FEE arrangement.

We may also be able to assist you by loaning you the cost of disbursements such as medical reports from experts.

I cannot get to your office – what can I do?

Complete the on-line questionnaire. If you are unable to leave your house, we may be able to visit you at home.
